A STUDY OF RELATIONSHIP OF ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT, JOB SATISFACTION AND JOB PERFORMANCE AMONGST PUBLIC FUNDED COLLEGE TEACHERS OF SURAT CITY

Due to substantial cuts in state appropriations and rapidly diminishing budgets, public institutions of higher education in particular are struggling to realign resources and programs to fulfill their educational missions and maintain academic quality, while simultaneously responding to complex external legislative and accreditation mandates (Alvin and Edna 2012). Higher education institutions in Gujarat are divided into three categories namely Public Funded and Self-finance Colleges in Public Universities and self supporting Private Universities.

THE PREDICTORS OF JOB SATISFACTION OF PHYSIOTHERAPISTS

Background: - Job satisfaction is a complex function of a number of  variables. A person may be satisfied with one or more aspects of his/her job but at the same time may be unhappy with other things related to the job. Objectives: - The aim of the study was to find out the determinants of job satisfaction of physical therapist and to clarify that the professional specific scale which is used (speak man scale) is predicting the same which the general job satisfaction questionnaire measures.

JOB SATISFACTION OF TEACHER EDUCATORS AT THE D.T.ED. LEVEL : ITS RELATIONSHIP WITH ORGANISATIONAL HEALTH

The present study is an attempt to find out whether the job satisfaction of  teacher educators is related to the organizational health as it is expected that a teacher educator who is satisfied in his job will have better teacher performance.  For this purpose, organizational health is conceptualised as having seven dimensions, namely, institutional integrity, principal influence, consideration, initiating structure, resource support, morale and academic emphasis. The sample was selected from 14 D.T.Ed colleges situated in Greater Mumbai including 90 teacher educators.

JOB SATISFACTION AND VALUES AMONG SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS OF SOUTH GUJARAT

Today people are facing many problems in this changing world, so job satisfaction is also becoming complex day-by-day for them wherever they work. An integral component of a work climate is job satisfaction which is very much related to the values teachers hold. The values which the teachers have will effect generation of students. Satisfaction is a function of the discrepancy between the job outcomes of a person’s wants and outcomes that are perceived to be received.
