STRUCTURAL CHARACTERIZATION OF COBALT DOPED TIO2 PREPARED BY SOLID STATE REACTION METHOD

Cobalt doped Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) were synthesized by a standard solid-state reaction method. The formation of the single-phase compound and its structural parameters were investigated by X-Ray diffraction (XRD) followed by refinement using Xpowder and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) techniques. A better agreement between the observed and calculated XRD patterns was obtained by performing the refinement with a structural model using the space group I 41/amd. SEM image shows a spherical uniform shape of the particles.

PRECONCENTRATION OF HEAVY MINERALS FROM BEACH AND DUNE SANDS BY USING ADVANCED AIR CYCLONE

This paper deals with the results of pre concentration studies to recover total heavy minerals from beach and dune sand samples collected from marine drive of Konark –Puri by using an advanced air cyclone in combination of Dry High Intensity Magnetic Separator (DHIMS). The sample contains 16.7% Total Heavy Minerals (THM) and 83.3% of light minerals. Out of 16.7% THM, pyriboles are about 0.32%.

YASMINE GOONERATNE'S A CHANGE OF SKIES: A STUDY IN DIASPORIC EXPERIENCE

Etymologically, the term ‘diaspora’ is derived from the Greek term ‘diasperien’. ‘Dia’ means ‘across’ and ‘sperien’ means ‘to sow or scatter seeds’. Currently, the term, ‘diaspora’ is referred to those displaced communities which have been dislocated from their homeland through migration, immigration or exile. They are the hordes of displaced persons and communities moving across the globe. ‘Diaspora’, therefore, suggests dislocation from a geographical location of origin and relocation in another territory or country.

DELAYED MARRIAGE - A CASE STUDY ON ASTROLOGICAL POINT OF VIEW

The existence of human progeny will be continuing on the earth till date as long as the society has accepted the event of the marriage in the routine life. The pioneer thinkers of the divisional sectors, like Kings, Rusies, leaders and social workers of the societies have no declaration for the suitable age for marriage for two individuals, the male and female. Hence the marriage were fixed as and when the male or female child born in the communities of same casts or in between two known or nearer relatives or among the group of relative’s families.

TO STUDY THE MEDICINAL VALUE OF HERBS WHICH ARE NATURAL PROPAGATED DURING MONSOON SEASON ON WASTE LAND

Today Tradition systems of medicine which utilize mostly plant derived prescriptions, remain the source of primary health care for more than 3/4thof the third world population. It is estimated that a one third of all world pharmaceuticals are of plant origin. It is naturally felt that there is a need to make on humble attempt to acquire and familiarize every sector of human society which is available to us. This research paper is regarding beneficial role of plants “Cassia tora Linn.” and Achyranthes aspera Linn.

STATISTICAL STUDY OF BANKING PROFILE OF GUJARAT

The literature suggests strong dependence between money and output both theoretically as well as empirically. Under the premise of this linkage an attempt has been made to represent the picture of real economy using financial statistics for the year 2009-10. An assessment of the performance of the state of Gujarat through information available from banking statistics has been made.

AEROBIC MICROBIAL DEGRADATION OF M-CRESOL

Wastewater or sewage sludge is a complex mixture of organic and inorganic compound. Cresol is one of the major constituents found in waste water. Cresol being toxic/ carcinogenic for aquatic and terrestrial animals including humans, removal of these compounds to sufficiently low levels in wastewater is of great importance. The major disadvantages with the available conventional treatments are cost involved in disposal of the final effluent, production of toxic intermediates, and incomplete mineralization of the compounds.

ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY OF EXTRACTS FROM BARK OF AEGLE MARMELOS IN DIFFERENT SOLVENTS

Aegle marmelos is a medicinal herb belongs to the family Rutaceae, used for antimicrobial screening against selected four pathogenic microorganisms - Escherichia coli MTCC40, Salmonella typhi MTCC3216, Proteus vulgaris MTCC428 & Staphylococcus aureus MTCC3160. Bark of Aegle marmelos was extracted in ethanol and petroleum ether through cold and hot extraction method. For control petroleum ether, ethanol and Ampicilin were used.

A PRELIMINARY CHECKLIST OF THE AMPHIBIAN FAUNA OF DISTRICT LARKANA (SINDH) PAKISTAN

The field survey was carried out from March 2011 through November 2012 at twenty different sites of District Larkana to determine the undocumented and unreported occurrence of amphibian species. A total of 537 amphibian specimens were collected, out of which 312 specimens were determined to belong with family Ranidae and 225 specimens to family Bufonidae of order Anura.

EFFECT OF INFLATION ON SUPPLY CHAIN MODEL WITH EXPONENTIAL DEMAND

In this paper, the inventory models assumed that the production rate of a manufacturing system is often assumed to be constant, but in fact production rate is a variable under managerial control. Production rate may be influenced due to demand, on hand inventory and launching new competitive product or with the change in customer’s preferences. A great number of authors have studied problems connected with constant production rate by taking different deterioration and demand rate. But when a new product is launched in the super market, demand increases more rapidly as time progresses.
