A STUDY OF RELATIONSHIP OF ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT, JOB SATISFACTION AND JOB PERFORMANCE AMONGST PUBLIC FUNDED COLLEGE TEACHERS OF SURAT CITY

Due to substantial cuts in state appropriations and rapidly diminishing budgets, public institutions of higher education in particular are struggling to realign resources and programs to fulfill their educational missions and maintain academic quality, while simultaneously responding to complex external legislative and accreditation mandates (Alvin and Edna 2012). Higher education institutions in Gujarat are divided into three categories namely Public Funded and Self-finance Colleges in Public Universities and self supporting Private Universities.

FEED ACCEPTABILITY, SURVIVAL AND GROWTH PERFORMANCE OF BLUE SWIMMING CRAB (PORTUNUS PELAGICUS. L) FED WITH DIFFERENT CHEAPER DIETS

The aim of this research was to study the feed acceptability, survival and growth performance of blue swimming crab (Portunus pelagicus, Linnaeus 1758) fed with different diets: fish, jellyfish, worm and worm compost. Another goal was to examine the possibility of using different cheaper diets- worm, compost and jellyfish as supplementary or additional diets for culturing of blue swimming crabs.

E-LEARNING IN INDIAN HIGHER EDUCATION

E-Learning is a modern, technology-oriented training method. It is moulding the world wide educational scenario from local to global approach. In India, the education system is based on class room lectures. E-Learning is used as a teaching and learning tool by teachers and students but e-learning courses are not usually offered by Indian Universities. Prospective of e-learning is high in India but the adoption rate is very low. A good marketing strategy, awareness and evolutionary government policy is required for this purpose.

A PRELIMINARY CHECKLIST OF THE AMPHIBIAN FAUNA OF DISTRICT LARKANA (SINDH) PAKISTAN

The field survey was carried out from March 2011 through November 2012 at twenty different sites of District Larkana to determine the undocumented and unreported occurrence of amphibian species. A total of 537 amphibian specimens were collected, out of which 312 specimens were determined to belong with family Ranidae and 225 specimens to family Bufonidae of order Anura.

EFFECT OF INFLATION ON SUPPLY CHAIN MODEL WITH EXPONENTIAL DEMAND

In this paper, the inventory models assumed that the production rate of a manufacturing system is often assumed to be constant, but in fact production rate is a variable under managerial control. Production rate may be influenced due to demand, on hand inventory and launching new competitive product or with the change in customer’s preferences. A great number of authors have studied problems connected with constant production rate by taking different deterioration and demand rate. But when a new product is launched in the super market, demand increases more rapidly as time progresses.

There are 43 Indian tyre manufacturers of which only 10 of them constitute 90-92% of tyre production. Keeping this in mind, it should be noticed that the share of imports has been increasing at a steady rate due to demand by commercial vehicles, and passenger vehicles. Demand for automobile tyres is increasing, but with fluctuating prices of raw materials increase in growth can't be seen. Volume of sales slowdown of Indian tyre industry and the competition play crucial role in developing market like India.
